- CS Pacat‘s Penguin cover for CAPTIVE PRINCE: I fell in love with these (then) self-pubbed books last year – so excited the first has a cover and a release date (April 2015)! Now we just need a release date for the final book…
- Hardcover to Paperback Makeovers: Backlist YA covers @ Stacked: Kelly tracks down the various iterations of a book’s cover, this time for YA books that have been out for a while – it’s always interesting to see design changes to reflect the latest cover trends (or just to attract a new audience)
- Sarah Rees Brennan‘s final installment in her TURN OF THE STORY serial: The online short that somehow spiraled into a novel-length story. I never do online serials and she managed to trick me into loving this one. I really hope it gets published one day – I’ll be first in the queue.
- Mary Robinette Kowal talks about how the dress on the cover of her new book OF NOBLE FAMILY came about: Not only did she write the book, she made the dress for the cover. I can barely manage to re-attach loose buttons (okay, I exaggerate, but not by much), so I’m in total awe. Plus it’s an amazing dress, and she wore it to the Hugos!
